RAC & waitlisted tickets

Cancelled up to 30 minutes before departure: only a clerkage charge of ₹60per passenger is deducted. Fully-waitlisted e-tickets that don't get confirmed are refunded automatically — you don't need to cancel.

Tatkal

Confirmed Tatkal tickets are generally non-refundable, except when the train is cancelled or rescheduled by more than 3 hours.
